Great Turnout for McCaffrey Homes Altura Grand Opening

10-23-2018

At the highly anticipated grand opening of Altura at Tesoro Viejo McCaffrey Homes welcomed over a thousand interested home shoppers to Tesoro Viejo’s first neighborhood in southeast Madera County.  The new master-planned community is in an ideal location, off Highway 41 just minutes north of River Park.

“Interest in Altura at Tesoro Viejo has been building for months, and to see over a thousand visitors who came from across the area for the first look at the new model homes was extremely gratifying,” said Shelly Hogan, vice president of sales at McCaffrey Homes. “We are especially proud of the number of homebuyers who are choosing Altura for their new home and the positive responses we received during the unveiling of the new model homes.”

Starting in the low $300s, the Altura collection features two-story homes that range in size from approximately 1,580 to 2,205 square feet that go up to four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a tandem three car garage. The homes will be value packed with all the amenities that make a house feel like a home upon moving in.  And this weekend is the perfect time for home buying families to take advantage of McCaffrey’s special offer--a new appliance package (washer/dryer and refrigerator) with the purchase of a new Altura home as the Grand Opening celebration continues.

“We designed Altura for today’s busy, active lifestyle,” said Hogan.  “We are confident those who visit will see that Altura offers three new floor plans filled with modern conveniences, minimum maintenance, and maximum style and quality.”

Altura offers home buyers flexible spaces that meet their needs with opportunities for a hobby room, super pantry, lofts, dens and an Idea Room with endless possibilities.  In addition, exteriors at Altura will feature stunning architecture in Farmhouse, Santa Barbara, and Spanish styles.

Tesoro Viejo is a breathtaking site of about 1,600 acres of gently rolling hills and vistas. The community is situated at the foot of Little Table Mountain and has been thoughtfully designed to capture its scenic surroundings, offering residents views of the sloping hillsides and the dramatic Sierra foothills.  Tesoro Viejo will feature about 400 acres of permanently preserved natural open space, parks, recreational areas and miles of trails.

“We’re thrilled to build at Tesoro Viejo with its beautiful natural setting,” said Hogan.  “Homeowners will appreciate the new neighborhood Hillside school, resort-style amenities, walking/biking trails, preserved natural open spaces, and on-site fire and sheriff services.”

Altura is located in the Hillside Village, the first of nine residential villages at Tesoro Viejo. Across from the new neighborhood is Chawanakee Unified School District’s Hillside Elementary School that serves students in transitional kindergarten through 8th grade, which officially opened in August for the 2018-2019 school year.  The school’s state-of-the-art facilities include a library/media center, music room, outdoor learning spaces, athletic facilities with gymnasium, as well as a media production room with green screen.

To tour the new model homes, interested homebuyers are invited to visit the Altura Welcome Center, open daily from 11am until 6pm, off Highway 41 and Town Center Blvd.  Homeowners can also browse floor plans and see more details at www.mccaffreyhomes.com.
