McCaffrey Homes has won four Merit Awards for architectural excellence as part of the annual Gold Nugget awards competition sponsored by the Pacific Coast Builders Conference. Nominated for its home collections at The Heights at Loma Vista and The Gallery, both located in the master-planned urban village of Loma Vista in Clovis, Calif., McCaffrey Homes is now a finalist for the prestigious Gold Nugget Grand Awards competition. The Grand Awards will be presented at the Gold Nugget Awards ceremony on Wednesday, June 5, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego. The local homebuilder has now been honored with 10 Gold Nugget awards since 2007.
According to Lauren McCaffrey Knowlton, vice president of marketing for McCaffrey Homes, the homebuilder received Merit Awards for The Gallery Carnelian Plan 2, in the category of Single Family Detached Home under 2,000 square feet. The Heights at Loma Vista received three Merit Awards. Honors were given in the category of Single Family Detached Home under 2,000 square feet for Chelsea Plan 1, Greenwich Plan 2, and for Tribeca Plan 4.

The Gold Nugget Awards competition is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and is the oldest design awards program in the nation. The competition is open to builders, developers, architects and land planners with projects in the United States and around the world.
