McCaffrey Homes is excited to announce that our founders, Robert (Bob) and Karen Bonadelle McCaffrey, were recently inducted into the California Homebuilding Foundation (CHF) Hall of Fame.
The McCaffrey team is very proud of their achievement as the award is bestowed upon a select group of homebuilding professionals who have enriched the community through innovation, public service and philanthropy.
For McCaffrey Homes' founders Karen and Bob McCaffrey, homebuilding has always been a family affair. For nearly 40 years, Karen and Bob have teamed up to expand upon her father's - respected land developer and homebuilder John Bonadelle -- legacy of building exceptional neighborhoods where families can live out the American Dream.
The Hall of Fame event, held on June 24, 2014 at the Fairmont San Francisco Hotel, gathered some of the most successful builders, architects, developers and real estate professionals in the homebuilding industry to celebrate the Hall of Fame inductees and welcome them into this venerated class of 2014.
According to Karen, the night was made more special to be shared among her family, including the couple's children Brent and Lauren and their spouses Liz and Ash, respectively.
“It gives me an immense amount of pride and joy to be working in what I love with those who I love,"? Karen said.
Proving that land development is in the DNA, Karen and Bob McCaffrey continue to look forward to advancing a rich family tradition of building homes and, along with their children, are excited to welcome the fourth generation of builders -- grandchildren Braden, Makenna and Bryce - who will grow McCaffrey Homes into the future.
