McCaffrey Homes to build first neighborhoods at the New Riverstone Community in Madera

04-14-2016

McCaffrey Homes — an award-winning, third-generation local homebuilder based in Fresno, California — has been selected to be the inaugural builder with two neighborhoods in the new Riverstone master-planned community in California's southeast Madera County.

Designed especially for this exciting new community, McCaffrey Homes will debut two new collections of homes. The Santerra and Ivy collections will include eight all-new floor plans. Each home will feature distinctive architectural design and McCaffrey Homes' well-known attention to detail and quality construction.

"We're very excited to have McCaffrey Homes as our first homebuilder," said Tim Jones, Principal of Riverstone Development. "McCaffrey is a homegrown, highly respected and experienced builder with an unwavering commitment to enduring craftsmanship—and a passion for elevating the quality of life for families in the Central Valley."

Rising from a vibrant patchwork of historic orchards in southeast Madera County set before Sierra Nevada views, Riverstone is a celebration of California living where people of every generation can enjoy a lifestyle centered on the relaxed and informal spirit of the Golden State. Tied to the land's history and alive with the agricultural heritage and traditions of the Central Valley, the 2,000-acre Riverstone will feature more than 6,500 homes, three elementary schools and a high school, over 200 acres of parks and open space reserves, as well as commercial space featuring office, service and retail offerings. The community, which is obligated to balance its groundwater, enjoys water supplies that provide—on average—considerably more water than will be necessary to meet water demands.

"For more than three decades, the team at McCaffrey Homes has helped build the fabric of California's Central Valley," said Robert McCaffrey, CEO of McCaffrey Homes. "As our region expands to encompass the beautiful landscapes of Madera County, we're honored to be the inaugural builder in what will be one of the Central Valley's premier communities."

Santerra at Riverstone

The Santerra collection of new homes from McCaffrey Homes exemplifies the spirit of California, with architectural details that capture the heritage and spirit of the Golden State. One- and two-story homes with up to 5 bedrooms will range in size from 1,598 square feet to 2,880 square feet with anticipated prices starting in the low $300,000s.

Ivy at Riverstone

The Ivy collection of homes built by McCaffrey Homes embodies a distinctive, American Traditional style of architecture. With a timeless Ivy League feel, homes will range from 2,394 square feet to 4,143 square feet. The Ivy collection will offer flexible floor plans, the option for multi-generational living, and up to 6 bedrooms and 4.5 baths — with anticipated pricing from the upper $300,000's.

Riverstone will ultimately include eight distinctive neighborhoods, each with its own unique feel. The centerpiece of Riverstone's first phase will be The Lodge, a community clubhouse. The Lodge is planned to include a fully equipped fitness center, a resort-style pool with cabanas, and an innovative Gear Barn with an array of recreational equipment.
