We at McCaffrey Homes are proud to support many worthy charitable organizations both locally and nationally. One such organization is Families United, among the nation's leading military family organizations, whose mission is to honor the fallen, support those who fight, and serve their families.

This year, Families United, will launch the first National Gold Star Family Registry. This public, online platform will be the first comprehensive record of fallen Heroes and their families ever developed. Whether they gave their life in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan or another conflict, the Registry will be a place to ensure their memory lives on.

Every year, Families United brings together thousands of the mothers and fathers, spouses, sons and daughters of our nation’s fallen for a Weekend of Remembrance. The events of the weekend pay tribute to America’s fallen, while providing an opportunity for those Gold Star families to support each other, share their stories, and celebrate their loved ones. This year’s Weekend of Remembrance will be held in Washington, DC on July 23-24 with more than 2,000 family members expected to attend.
