Clovis Unified School District offers the highest Academic Performance Index of any unified school district in Central California. Cedarwood Elementary School began welcoming students in 1996 with a focus on high academic performance and a wide variety of athletic, performing arts and club choices to create a successful, well-rounded school experience. In 2009, Cedarwood Elementary received an impressive score of 896 on California's Academic Performance Index and has been recognized as a California Distinguished School. Its location just outside the city limits of Clovis provides a country-like atmosphere in a rural setting.

Clark Intermediate School provides a rich learning environment emphasizing academic quality, along with a long-standing tradition of athletic and performing arts excellence. Located in Old Town Clovis, Clark Intermediate has been recognized as a State Distinguished School, a 2009 School to Watch Model School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.

Clovis High School traces its roots back to 1899, when it opened to serve Clovis and the surrounding farming communities. Over the years, Clovis High has earned an impressive list of accomplishments, including multiple league, Valley and State performing arts, athletic and academic championships. The school has been recognized as a State Distinguished School and a National Blue Ribbon School. Today, the campus is known as the alma mater of multiple generations of Clovis families.
