Clovis Unified School District offers the highest Academic Performance Index of any unified school district in Central California. The award-winning school district provides students with a well-rounded education in mind, body and spirit, with highly qualified, caring teachers and world-class facilities.
Clovis Unified's Reagan Educational Center contains three separate schools on nearly 160 acres near Ashlan and DeWolf Avenues. The campus incorporates grades K through 12 with Reagan Elementary, Reyburn Intermediate and Clovis East High School.
Ronald W. Reagan Elementary School opened in 2006 and combines a rigorous academic environment with a wide variety of co-curricular opportunities to provide a well-rounded school experience. McCaffrey Homes invested in the education of local children by providing the funding for library books to help the new school develop a vibrant reading environment for its students.
Reyburn Intermediate School opened in 1999 and collaborates closely with Clovis East High School to enable students to benefit from the large library media center, the McFarlane-Coffman Ag Center and other cross-age programs. Reyburn Intermediate was one of only three California schools awarded the highly competitive title "2010 Schools to Watch - Taking Center Stage."
Clovis East High School also opened in 1999 and melds excellent educational opportunities with sports and agriculture. The school is home to a double olympic-sized swimming pool used for local, state and national swim meets; extensive softball, soccer, baseball, tennis and football fields; and the state-of-the-art McFarlane-Coffman Ag Center. This multi-million dollar center is unlike any other public school agricultural facility, and is designed to provide students with outdoor learning experiences integrated with college prep curriculum.
