Building A Life Together and A Second McCaffrey Group Home

Reunited high school sweethearts Jeremy and Lisa Shipman fell in love at first glance after ten years apart and are now building their life together. The couple purchased their first home together at the McCaffrey Group’s Trend Big Country neighborhood and have recently purchased a new home in Hampton Renaissance where they will set the foundation for their future.

It was a sold-out Wednesday night Fresno State basketball game in November 2001 when Lisa and Jeremy noticed each other. It was fate that night when Jeremy sat in the wrong seats, the seats that changed their lives forever.

Upon seeing each other, it only took ten minutes for them to realize they had never fallen out of love. The following Monday, they went on their first date and by Friday the couple was engaged to be married. Without a doubt in their minds they eloped to Las Vegas the next April and shortly after, enjoyed a formal wedding at Fort Washington to celebrate their reunion with their family and friends. They have since enjoyed life in a way neither of them ever imagined.

Lisa teaches at a local elementary school and Jeremy is a High School English teacher; both are currently working toward becoming Vice Principals. Now married for over two years, the couple lives with their son Hayden in a McCaffrey Group home in Trend Big Country and has recently purchased a new home at Hampton Renaissance also a McCaffrey Group product.

“We had such a great experience with our first McCaffrey home that when we decided we were going to move to North Fresno we looked into Hampton Renaissance right away,” said Lisa. “The McCaffrey Group has such an excellent reputation as both builders and members of our community that it felt right. Plus, once we saw the home designs and style, we were sold instantly.”
