Long-Time Clovis Residents Find Dream Home At Hampton Renaissance

Mel and Darlene Costa have lived in Clovis since 1960 and felt it was time to move up to a newer, more modern home. They loved Clovis, so they had two requirements in choosing a home. It had to be in Clovis and it had to be a new home.

Darlene Costa was the most active in their new home search, visiting several new home communities over a period of months. Her nephew lives in a McCaffrey home and loves it, so she said she was comfortable with The McCaffrey Group’s reputation and included Hampton Renaissance in their new home search.

“When I toured the Hacienda de Campo model, I fell in love with it,” said Mrs. Costa. “I didn’t even look at the all the other models,” she said. “It was the right size, the right everything. I liked the openness of the kitchen and the kitchen island. And the front entrance is so warm and inviting.” Mr. and Mrs. Costa, who are now retired, use the extra bedrooms in their home as guest bedrooms.

When asked what she likes best about her new home now that she and her husband are settled into it, she couldn’t limit her answer to just one thing she likes best. “I love the master bedroom and bath. I like the quiet neighborhood. I like that everything is updated. I like the nice yard. And the location is convenient to everything,” she said. “The majority of our neighbors are young families. It’s nice to see kids playing and families riding bikes together. It’s a neat place to live.”
